The arts are an important part of our worship life at St. Giles. Our nave (worship space) features excellent acoustics, a multi-level staging area up front, and seating for over 150, as well as ample off-street parking on the premises. It is an excellent venue for rehearsing and/or performing for individuals, choral and instrumental chamber ensembles, and small-scale dramatic productions. We also have space for receptions following concerts. Past performers at St. Giles include the piano duo of Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem and the Lincoln Trio (both in residence at the Music Institute of Chicago), the choral ensemble Bella Voce, and the award-winning children’s choir Campanella. In addition, the acoustics in the nave make it an outstanding setting for recording purposes.
