Episcopal Cafe
The Cafe is collaborative effort by more than two dozen writers and editors, and an ever-growing list of visual artists. Together, we aspire to create a visually appealing, intellectually stimulating, spiritually enriching and at least occasionally amusing site where Episcopalians and those interested in our church can read, watch, listen and reflect upon contemporary life in a context informed by faith and animated by the spirit of charity.
ECF Vital Practices
ECF Vital Practices offers vestry members and other people of faith, resources and tools to respond to the changing needs of the Church.
Episcopal Relief and Development
Episcopal Relief and Development provides ongoing relief and support to victims of natural disasters and those of human origin. They make a 5-year commitment to remain in the affected areas.
Hunger Resource Network
For over 25 years, members of St. Giles have been delivering surplus food from local restaurants and grocery stores to food pantries and soup kitchens. In 2009 this outreach ministry was incorporated into a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Last year the Hunger Resource Network delivered over 74 tons of surplus food to organizations serving those in need.
Guidelines for the Solemnization of Holy Unions
In light of the Civil Unions law that went into effect in Illinois in June, the Diocese of Chicago and Bishop Jeffrey D. Lee have published guidelines for those who would like to enter into a Holy Union.
